Refund & Cancellation Policy

e-Saheli Mahila Vikas Foundation (EMVF) is committed to making skill development and learning opportunities accessible to women. This policy explains the conditions under which refunds and cancellations are considered for training initiatives, course enrolments, and offline practical batches offered through our initiatives.

Which of these describes your situation?

A quick guide based on the policy below. It does not replace the Foundation’s review of your request.

All requests are assessed in accordance with applicable terms and law. This policy does not limit any rights available to participants or consumers under applicable Indian law.

Course Fee Refunds

Refund requests are considered only under specific circumstances, such as:

Duplicate payment for the same enrolment.
Payment deducted but course access not provided due to a verified technical or administrative issue that cannot be resolved.
Cancellation of a course or training initiative by EMVF without a suitable alternative.
Any other situation where a refund is required under applicable law.

As online course access is provided immediately after successful payment, refunds are generally not provided for a change of mind or non-completion of a course. All requests will be assessed in accordance with applicable terms and law.

Offline Training and Practical Batches

  1. Offline practical batches may have separate cancellation and rescheduling conditions depending on the initiative, venue, and training arrangements.
  2. Participants should contact the Foundation as early as possible to request a cancellation or rescheduling. Refund eligibility will be assessed according to the terms communicated before enrolment.
  3. If EMVF cancels a batch, affected participants will be informed about the available options, including rescheduling or a refund where applicable.

Sponsored and Foundation-Supported Initiatives

Some EMVF initiatives may provide training, learning materials, practical kits, or other support free of cost or through donor- or CSR-funded assistance.
For such initiatives, refund eligibility depends on the nature of the support provided and the applicable enrolment terms. Where a participant has not paid any fee, no course-fee refund will be applicable.
Any participant contribution or fee collected for a specific initiative will be handled according to the terms communicated at enrolment and applicable law.

Duplicate or Failed Payments

Contact the FoundationIf a payment is deducted more than once or deducted without successful enrolment, please contact the Foundation with the transaction reference and relevant details.
Verification & reversalAfter verification, eligible refunds or payment reversals will be initiated through the applicable payment provider.

How to Request a Refund

Please contact EMVF and provide the following details. Fill them in below and we’ll prepare a ready-to-send email for you.

Please enter your full name.
Enter the 10-digit mobile number.
Please tell us which course or initiative.
Please choose the payment date.
Please enter the transaction ID / payment reference.
Please tell us the reason (at least a few words).

Form entries are saved in this browser on this device as you type, but the form starts blank when the page is opened again. Nothing is sent to EMVF until you send the prepared email. Use Clear saved draft to erase locally saved data.

Approved refunds will generally be processed through the original payment method wherever possible. The time taken for the amount to be credited may depend on the payment provider and bank.

Refunds will be handled within the timelines required by applicable law.
