Dinesh Nikumbh’s own story is the Foundation’s philosophy lived forward. A Diploma holder in Electrical Engineering (1983), he spent his first decade in salaried employment before stepping out on his own in 1993 — building and running a successful borewell contracting business that has served farmers, homes and communities across Maharashtra for over three decades. He knows first-hand what it takes to turn a skill into a livelihood and a livelihood into an enterprise, without privilege or shortcuts — the very journey the Foundation now walks with rural women. Alongside his business, he has quietly contributed to social causes and community initiatives throughout his life. As Founder & Director, he anchors the Foundation’s grassroots instincts: practical, patient, and rooted in the belief that self-reliance is built, not given.

Prasad Vidwans brings to the Foundation a rare combination of institutional integrity, physical endurance and grassroots public service. A Commerce graduate, he served the Income Tax Department for 36 years — including 12 years with the Air Intelligence Unit at Pune Airport, 14 years in the Department of Investigations wing, and a decade in assessment work. Prasad Vidwans brings to the Foundation a rare combination of institutional integrity, physical endurance and grassroots public service. A Commerce graduate, he served the Income Tax Department for 36 years — including 12 years with the Air Intelligence Unit at Pune Airport, 14 years in the Department of Investigations wing, and a decade in assessment work — a career built on vigilance, diligence and uncompromising integrity. A national-level sportsperson, he set an Asian record in 1992 by running non-stop for 26 hours from Pune to Mumbai — 170 kilometres — a feat of endurance that says everything about how he approaches a long road. He has also served his native Kelshi as Up-Sarpanch, working on village-level governance from the inside. As Founder & Director, he brings the Foundation its compliance backbone and its stamina — the conviction that meaningful change, like a long run, is won by refusing to stop.

Tejas D. Nikumbh leads EMVF’s programmes, partnerships, and organisational roadmap. He brings a strong focus on building sustainable systems, scalable operating procedures, and creating meaningful, measurable impact for rural and semi-urban communities.
